What is "fringe"?

Fringe celebrates original and unexpected work from artists across Wyoming and beyond.

a statewide collaboration

Wyoming Fringe Festival is a partnership between The Lyric and the Laramie Plains Civic Center — two arts nonprofits working together to keep Wyoming’s performing arts scene bold, accessible, and alive.
Founded in Natrona County, the festival is designed to circulate between Wyoming communities, expanding geographic access while strengthening artist-audience connections statewide.

2026’s Wyoming Fringe Festival will be at the
Laramie Plains Civic Center on August 21-23. The Laramie Plains Civic Center is a large arts facility located in central Laramie with multiple venues, including: The Gryphon Theatre (a modernized proscenium theatre), two gymnasiums, a ballroom, as well as outdoor gathering space and expansive hallways
